User targeted Push Notifications

This feature is great as compared to other advanced push notifications as GEO fencing has some pros and cons, but this is a truly engaging feature for many reasons.

Now with North Park, sending push messages to individual users, or multiple users at once is possible. On PWA the app is on the latest version, however, your native app may need an upgrade if its older than 2017.

To do so, you will first need to navigate to the Customers section in the CMS.

From here you have a couple of options. First I'll go over the single user process.

From the Customers list, you will want to click on a customer, this will bring you to the customer's detail view. In the top cell just under the user's name and email address you will see the three-dot menu button. Click this and you will find the option to Send-> Push Notification.

You will then see a modular workflow of the push notifications feature. Because you have selected the exact user you wish to send this to, you, of course, will not need the Target Audience section or the location options.

You can also send a message from the Customer List view. If you hover over a customer on the list you will notice to the left of the name you have the ability to select the user. Once selected an action bar will appear on the bottom of the screen. You will also notice that there is now a select option to the left of all customers on the list as well as a 'Select All' option at the top.

You can send a push notification to however many users you select here. You will also notice on the last step of the workflow you will see a summary of how many users you had selected and are sending the notification to.
